Thank you for visitng our home on the web. His Way II is a southern gospel group that ministers throughout the country in churches, gosel expos, cruises and other special events.
We have had a number of singles released to national radio with charting songs on Singing News Top 80 and other charts.
His Way II not only entertains but their focus is to share the Love of Jesus Christ with their audiences everywhere.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all they ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path.
Proverbs 3: 5,6
His Way II knows, as a group and as individuals, that God has His own plan for each of us . Even the group's name reflects the belief that when God works His master plan through us, the message of faith, hope, mercy and abiding love enriches us all.
Singer-songwriter Michael Chesnut founded the group over ten years ago when he felt called upon to reach audiences great and small with the blessings of Jesus Christ. Mike's mature tenor tones and inspired writing bring a sweetness and respect for the Southern Gospel tradition as performed by HIs Way II. Mike and his wife, Margaret live in Syracuse, IN. They have 3 sons 1 daughter and have been blessed with five granddaughters and one step-grandson.
The beautiful, mellow voice of Cindy Hall will bless you as you listen to her heartfelt expressions of God's love. It is obvious as Cindy sings and ministers, that she fully believes what and Who she is singing about. Cindy has traveled with her hsuband Greg as they pastored in churches across the country. She has been a part of the music ministry in every church they pastored. Cindy and Greg have 3 daughters, 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
The versatile group is managed by Margaret Chesnut , Mike's wife. Margaret also expertly runs sound for each performance.
His Way II's newest project, "Soul Searching," inspires audiences to reach deep inside them and offer praise to our Lord. Offerings in their vast and varied program, including "My Lord I Want to See," give humble testimony of faith straight from the heart. Still others provide a bridge asking God for His presence in daily living. Whether performing a time-tested classic or a new song bound to become a family favorite, His Way II treasures the past and embraces the future, secure in their belief in a personal God for all of us. Audiences are uplifted and their spirit renewed by the music ministry of His Way II.

We do not have any certain or set fee, however, if you have ever seen or heard what the national groups charge, we have the same expenses that they have. We leave the amount of the money between you and God. We come to minister to you through the messages that God gives us through the songs we sing.
Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Provers 3:5, 6 (NIV)
Where are you putting your trust today? Are you putting your trust in material things, money, your job, people?
Why not put your trust in the One who gives everlasting life? The One who made the lame to walk and made the blind to see. His Name is Jesus.
Many times we don't understand the things that come our way. We don't understand our struggles and trials. But if acknowledge Christ Jesus and put Him first in everything we do, He will lead us, protect us, and keep us on the straight and narrow path that guides us on our jouney with Him.
Singing News Magazine recently did a series called "It
Happend on the Way to the Concert". We thought it might be fun to share with you some of our road stories.
Hope you enjoy them. Some are funny, some are inspirational, and some are just down right strange!
As told by Mike Chesnut:
It was a Sunday morning, our concert was over and we came out of the church in Elwood, IN. Larry and I were going to the bus to change clothes so we could load up the equipment. I put the key in the bus door, but the door wouldn't unlock. We needed to get in the bus, but really didn't want to break any of the MCI bus windows.
I went to the back of the bus and opened the access door and decided there was only one course of action. The Pastor and Larry Counterman (our bass singer) held up blankets around me while I removed my best black suit. I crawled through the access door, past the engine, over the transmission and up through the interior access panel on the floor of the bus. My arms were scraped and bleeding, I was black with oil and grease from the diesel engine. I put my jeans on and took the door apart from the inside and opened it. When I came out of the bus, I looked like Jesse Dixon's brother.
Larry and the Pastor were having a good laugh when they took a look at me. Fortunately the church had a new shower that had never been used. I gave it a good indoctrination and cleaned up and we headed out to the evening concert which was quite a distance away. We made it with barely a minute to spare.
Since this little incident I have taken a lot of ribbing about going into the bus white, crawling through the engine compartment in my underwear and coming out black. Is there anything we won't do to make sure we make it to the concert on time?
