His Way II knows, as a group and as individuals, that God has His own plan for each of us.
Even the group's name reflects the belief that when God works His master plan through us, the message of faith, hope,
mercy and abiding love enriches us all. Singer-songwriter Michael Chesnut
founded the group nearly eight years ago when he felt called upon to reach audiences great and small with the blessings
of Jesus Christ. Mike's mature tenor tones and inspired writing bring a sweetness and respect for the Southern Gospel
tradition as performed by His Way II. Mike and his wife, Margaret live in Syracuse, IN. They have 3 sons and 1 daughter
and have been blessed with five granddaughters and one step-grandson.
The beautiful, mellow voice of Cindy Hall will bless you as you listen
to her heartfelt expressions of God's love. It is obvious as Cindy sings and ministers, that she fully believes
what and Who she is singing about. Her beautiful rendition of "The Blood" will touch your heart and soul.
Cindy has traveled with her husband Greg as they pastored in churches across the country. She has been a part of the
music ministry in every church they pastored. Cindy and Greg have 3 daughters, 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
Larry Counterman sings bass and brings the group his many years of
experience in the southern gospel industry. Larry has one of the best bass voices in the industry. His smooth,
deep bass tone adds depth to the sound of His Way II. His professional on-stage presence and quick wit makes worship
fun, sincere, and fresh. Larry also helps Margaret with the bookings and promotions. Larry and his wife Cindy
have a farm in Wells County, Indiana. The joy of their life is spending time with the grandchildren.
The versatile group is managed by Margaret Chesnut, Mike's wife. Margaret also expertly runs sound for each performance. His Way II's newest project, "Soul Searching," inspires audiences to reach deep inside them and offer praises to our Lord. Offerings in their vast and varied program, including "My Lord I Want to See," give humble testimony of faith straight from the heart. Still others provide a bridge asking God for His presence in daily living. Whether performing a time-tested classic or a new song bound to become a family favorite, His Way II treasures the past and embraces the future, secure in their belief in a personal God for all of us.
